Egidio Bonfante, a painter at Olivetti

Cod.: QUD0703

DESCRIPTION:

The third of the “Quaderni dell’Archivio Storico Olivetti” is the catalog of the exhibition organized by the Olivetti Historical Archive on Egidio Bonfante, the artist who created many graphic works and installations for Olivetti.
Egidio Bonfante, who worked for Olivetti until the ’80s, undoubtedly left an indelible mark within the company. With his eclecticism, extraordinary creativity, and nonconformity, he played a significant role in presenting Olivetti to the world as an innovative and dynamic company.
The volume, enriched by the introduction by Renzo Zorzi, includes an exclusive interview by Eugenio Pacchioli with Bonfante about his extraordinary career at Olivetti. An iconographic section of considerable importance provides a detailed and comprehensive look at both the graphics, advertising campaigns, trade fair installations, and shops created by Bonfante for Olivetti, and his personal artistic production.
