Folon for Olivetti

DESCRIPTION
This poster is derived from a 1969 silkscreen print by Jean Michel Folon, the Belgian graphic artist who collaborated with Olivetti for many years. This version, with the wording “Folon for Olivetti,” was created in 1990 on the occasion of the “Folon’s Folons” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York organized by Olivetti. Using the same graphic design but with the phrase “Needs an Olivetti portable” various versions were made in Italian, French, German, and Spanish to meet the advertising needs of different markets.
